Andy Lamey is an associate teaching professor of philosophy at the University of California, San Diego. He is the author of the books Frontier Justice: The Global Refugee Crisis and What To Do About It (2011) and Duty and the Beast: Should We Eat Meat in the Name of Animal Rights?(2019). He holds a PhD in philosophy from the University of Western Australia, an MA from the University of Ottawa, and a BA from the University of King’s College, Nova Scotia.
