Antony Davies is associate professor of economics at Duquesne University and a Mercatus Affiliated Senior Scholar at George Mason University. His research interests include forecasting and rational expectations, consumer behavior, international economics, and mathematical economics. Previously Davies has been an equities analyst for The Burney Company, Chief Analytics Officer and acting Chief Financial Officer for Parabon Computation, and President and founder of Paragon Software (now Take-Two Interactive, NASDAQ: TTWO). He has been published in the Journal of Econometrics, the Journal of Consumer Psychology, the Journal of Economic Psychology, the International Journal of Forecasting, as well as over thirty newspapers. He is a regular columnist for U.S. News and World Report and the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. Davies received his B.S. in economics from Saint Vincent College and his Ph.D. in economics from the University at Albany – SUNY.
