Ingrid Persson currently works as a political adviser on international trade issues to Christofer Fjellner, a Swedish Member of the European Parliament, representing the Moderate Party in the centre-right group of the European People’s Party. Her main areas of expertise include TTIP, investment protection clauses in FTAs, antidumping, and trade preferences for developing countries.
Prior to working in Brussels, she was at the free market research institute Ratio and the free market think tank Timbro. She holds a Durham University postgraduate degree in International Relations, a City University undergraduate degree in International Politics, and is a Timbro Sture Academy alumna.
